We like to share with you comments we receive from our clients regarding our performers. Today I have to tell you about Rojo! Rojo has been with us for many years and is one of our most dynamic performers. He is a multitalented performer and offers several different shows including Martin Luther King, Frederick Douglass, Young Authors Day, and The Magic of Science. But the program he has become best known and loved for right now is his wonderful turn as Inspector Iwannano, our stalwart defender of character development and the Pillars of Character!

Anyone who has kids will know this. Just before holidays they get excited. Gee... kind of an understatement there, huh? Ballistic might be a better word, or frenetic, animated, distracted ... you name it. But one thing is for sure, it is hard to get them to concentrate on school work. Whether it be summer vacation, fall break, winter break, Thanksgiving ... it doesn’t matter, they will still work themselves into a frenzy, and it is very frustrating trying to calm them down to accomplish regular school work during these times.

If you have read my articles much over the last year or so you will know I really like our Young Authors Day school assembly program and in particular the gentleman who created and still performs that show. His name is Toma the Mime. I just received another glowing, over the top review of his show and I wanted to share it with you.

Mike Carrell has been performing school assemblies for Mobile ed for a long time. For many seasons he was resident on the East Coast, delivering wonderful presentations of our high-tech school show Lights Camera Action to grateful and happy schools in New York, New Jersey and other parts East.

One of our new programs this year is a real stunner! Piankeshaw Trails, performed magnificently by Sheryl Hartman, is an awesome school assembly program that introduces kids to the culture and history of the Woodland Tribes of the Ohio Valley. It is a great show in it’s own right. But it is also perfect for schools in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois and Kentucky who are looking for ideas and means to increase kids interest in this field which is so heavily featured in state standards all across the Midwest.

Today is the 11th day of the 11th month, otherwise known as Veterans Day, and originally known as Armistice Day to mark the official end of the first world war. In 1954 this was changed by Congress and the law signed by President Eisenhower officially naming today as a day of remembrance dedicated to all veterans of all the wars this country has fought. 

We mentioned yesterday that Dave Mitchell was coming back to Ohio and Michigan schools next week after touring the East Coast the last month or so. His anti bullying school assembly - Stronger Than a Bully -  was especially popular among New Jersey schools.

Just a refresher today to keep you up to speed on the comings and goings of some of our great school assembly performers. Seems like a lot of our best Midwest school show presenters were in other parts of the country in October, but they are all coming back to the Midwest in time for Thanksgiving and the Christmas holidays.

Jeff Hoge is a remarkable fellow and, when it comes to school assemblies, he is certainly one of the best performers around. He is remarkable because he is capable of performing admirably in many different roles as a school assembly presenter.
