Just a quick one this morning!
Sometimes when we are looking for a school assembly program, we may know exactly the program that we want, but be unable to find it because we do not have the right information to contact the performer. Sadly, school assemblies are not a huge commercial venture, and marketing is hit or miss in many cases.
Compounding this problem is the fact that different companies call their products by different names. Take portable planetariums for example. For years everyone knew that if you wanted to bring in a mobile planetarium you were looking for a Starlab Planetarium. That was the commercial company that manufactured and sold the domes and projectors. However, today there are different names and different companies offering competing traveling planetariums.
Other examples abound, but the point is that if you know what you are looking for, it pays to search for the program under different names and titles and compile a list of providers to compare head to head. Consider the advantages and disadvantages of one company over another.
It pays to shop around!
