Although Rojo presents many different school assemblies for us, in January he is often busy performing as Martin Luther King. This week he is doing school shows in the greater Cleveland area.
Today I received this email:
"Geoff,
Today our school had the privilege of having RoJo perform as Martin L. King Jr. His performance was uplifting, educational and well rehearsed. RoJo kept the kids interested in a very difficult subject matter and did so tactfully and with respect to the history and life of a legend.
I have been booking assemblies for schools for several years, and I have used your company with success in the past. Today's performance, attention to detail, professionalism and subject matter have put you and your company at the top of my list for years to come.
Thank you,
Jennifer Pochatek
Vice President, Westerly PTA
Bay Village, Ohio"
Wow! I am always proud of our great school assembly performers but reviews like this make us especially glad we are in this business!
As I mentioned, Rojo also offers other school shows. He performs school assemblies in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and basically in schools all across the Midwest, with occasional forays to the East Coast and Texas. In addition to his Martin Luther King school show, he also is one of our presenters offering Inspector Iwannano, a stunningly effective school assembly program based around the "character counts" guidelines. And he is also wonderfully entertaining and motivating when bringing to school audiences our Sky Dome Planetarium. And this great guy has also done other programs for us in the past. He is a real keeper!
Of course, we like all of our great performers! We would not send them into schools if we were not satisfied that they will do a great school assembly in your school.
But then, every now and then we do uncover a bad apple, a presenter who proves not up to snuff or becomes unacceptable for some reason or other. When we do uncover such flaws and insufficiencies, we cease to employ that individual. Sadly, many of these "unacceptable" presenters continue to offer themselves to schools, using skills they learned from us, props they never returned to us and boasting of experience gained with us, all to wend there way into unsuspecting schools.
It recently came to our attention that one such individual not only continues to copy and perform our programs, he has even taken to plagiarizing our blog entries!
Well they say imitation is the most sincere form of flattery! But you should not have to settle for inferior imitations, not when Mobile Ed offers a stable of top notch school assembly presenters like RoJo, performing school assemblies and science assemblies in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, all over the Midwest, and throughout the country!
