We wrote about Dave Mitchell yesterday and the wonderful reviews he gets for his New Jersey school assembly performances. Well, today we have another shout out to a fellow from Long Island, New York who also performs for us regularly in New Jersey schools and to equal acclaim.
This fellows name is Tom Barry, and he is one of the best school assembly performers I have ever seen and I have been in this business since the days of 8-track tapes (what’s an 8-track, grandpa?). But don’t take my word for it. Here is a recent comment from the coordinator of Port Reading school #9 in Port Reading, New Jersey following a performance with Sky Dome Planetarium:
“Tom Barry is one of the best performers we ever had in the school. He is informative, enthusiastic and he uses positive approaches to organize a large group of students. We’ve had him for Sky Dome Planetarium and for Earth Dome. We will surely have him back!”
Oh, I forgot to mention, Tom does two school assemblies in New Jersey and all over eastern New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts as well as parts of eastern Pennsylvania. He offers the Sky Dome Planetarium but he also performs our Earth Dome program (sometimes called Earth Balloon). Here is a response to his earth balloon from a school in Connecticut:
“The Earth Dome program was very enjoyable. The students were very interested and the program ran well with all the different age groups - 1st through 6th grade - Thanks again!”
This was from the coordinator at Deer Run Elementary in East Haven, Connecticut
Tom, himself, hails from the great metropolis of Albertson, New York, out on the island, but he probably does the majority of his school assembly programs in New Jersey. Lucky New Jersey! Oh, and did we mention that the female staff at schools are always asking about Tom because... well, because he is a good looking guy with a killer smile. But they should be prepared for disappointment as this talented young man recently met the girl of his dreams and got himself hitched this last year. Everybody here at Mobile Ed is very happy for him and really proud to to be able to offer our New Jersey schools a couple of fine school assemblies performed by “the boy from Long Island!”
