In the world of science assemblies, Jon Oliver is probably the most hardworking performer around! Operating primarily in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana, Jon also travels periodically to the east Coast to perform his school science shows. He covers a lot of miles every year shuttling back and forth.
In addition, Jon carries several different school science assemblies with him, so on any given day he may be performing any one of five totally different school shows!
A real lover of animals, Jon is our go to guy for natural science animal-type school assemblies in the states of Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky and all over the East Coast. He offers Animals and the Environment as well as Reptiles are Cool. Jon just loves his "critters"!
But he also is a real science guy, and one of our performers offering our main three science assemblies - Physics is Fun, The Magic of Science, and Chemistry! It Really Matters!
Recently Jon was in the Cleveland area performing our Chemistry science assembly. And boy, did he rock Cleveland! This school assembly addresses "the scientific method" and features a variety of really “cool” demonstrations, including a fabulous opportunity for kids to exerience the instant freezing capabilities of Liquid Nitrogen. As if that wasn’t enough, his school assembly also involves the manufacture of polyfoam, explanations and demonstrations of various chemical reactions such as exothermic and endothermic, plus some really thrilling contolled explosions. Those really “rocked” the school and had students squealing with delight!
I think it is safe to say Cleveland is a little calmer now that Jon has left Ohio, but I am sure the students in a few Ohio schools have been left with a better understanding of science, and with some scientific memories they will never forget!
