Every year Mobile Ed tries to introduce new school assemblies for our client schools, either in the form of a totally brand new program or as a newly refurbished school assembly. And every year we have some clients who are disappointed when we withdraw from circulation an older school assembly program to make way for the new. But we also have many clients always asking for something new, and school assemblies do grow old with use. Sometimes they just need to be taken off the road for a season and freshened up a little.
This month we are finalizing plans for our school assembly offerings for school year 2011-2012. Though we have, just this week, begun scheduling for next year, some plans are still taking shape.
As usual, two or three older programs will make way for two to three brand new and exciting school assemblies! Nothing is finalized yet but we are hearing mysterious rumblings and whispers coming from the back room "skunkworks" where Mobile Ed creates its great school shows. Odd noises and strange puffs of smoke. Mysterious individuals garbed in exotic clothing coming and going at weird hours. Weird lights shining through from beneath the door. The aroma of something unmistakably exotic. It all seems to promise something new, something exciting, something like... like... like a new school assembly program!
One rumor holds that a new science assembly is on it’s way. No details on what this new science assembly might be quite yet, but we are hearing what sounds a lot like a vacuum cleaner some times, and a hairdryer at other times, plus a Frisbee was seen bouncing out the door yesterday. In addition, large quantities of toilet paper and marshmallows have disappeared into the back room! Not sure what it all means but it is sure to be a lot of fun!
Schools in the Midwest states of Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio will be pleased to learn of another rumor seeming to promise that we are working on bringing you a wonderful new social studies school assembly dealing with Native American cultures and the Indians of the Ohio River Valley. More on this to come...
And we are really pleased with our last new "rumored" offering. For years our client schools have asked us for an anti-bullying school assembly to act as a companion piece to our Character Counts school assembly - Inspector Iwannano. Now it finally looks as though Mobile Ed will be able to offer a high quality anti-bullying school assembly program based on vast research combined with Mobile Ed’s years of experience bringing fun and high quality, educational school assemblies to kids nationwide. Much more on this to come...
But for now... shhhhhh! It’s all just rumors, you know? ;-)
Heh, heh, heh.
