We have written before about Rojo, a truly inspiring school assembly presenter who has worked for us for many years. He currently performs our Character Counts assembly program - Inspector Iwannano - and also is one of our presenters for the portable planetarium Skydome here in the Midwest. But Rojo came to us originally to present our Martin Luther King school assembly, and he is still truly magnificent in that role and renowned for his presentations in schools throughout the Midwest. And that is what some students from Natcher Elementary in Bowling Green, Kentucky found out for themselves just recently!
Our contact at Natcher is the Family resource Center Coordinator, Ms. Susan Tabor. After Rojo had gone, some of the students decided to write letters to Rojo letting him know how much they enjoyed hs school assembly and Susan was kind enough to forward them to us to share with Rojo. I don’t think he will mind my sharing them here.
Well we think Rojo is pretty swell, too! If you are in Kentucky and would like to have Rojo bring his particular brand of enthusiastic teaching zeal to your school, he is on the East Coast at present but still has a few dates left in May when he is available back in Kentucky and other parts of the Midwest.
What’s my name? - Rojo! What’s my name? - Rojo! What’s your name? - Best Kids!
