Mobile Ed school assemblies are in the news again! Recently our earth balloon school assembly - The Earth Dome - visited students at Mowrey Elementary in Pennsylvania. Nancy Mace, a reporter with The Record Herald, shared an article on the visit.
Our earth balloon is always well received and the kids at Mowrey loved the program, too!
Scheduling is now underway for programs for 2011-2012, so if you are interested in bringing the earth balloon to your school this is a great time to call. The best selection of dates is now available. The earth balloon program is one of our most popular, and the best dates for The Earth Dome will fill in quickly!
This assembly allows for up to nine half-hour assemblies in which 35 to 45 students (depending on grade level) will have a presentation both outside as well as inside the inflatable dome. They will see and better understand the scale of concepts such as continents, time zones, latitude, longitude, and more! You may spot some major cities or even your hometown on the map which may appear way smaller than you think! These topics are presented to each class at the appropriate grade level.
