I really love what we do! Bringing an excitement about science to kids through awesome science assemblies is exciting in itself! Seeing their faces filled with awe and knowing we had a part in creating that awe is a wonderfully fulfilling feeling!
Today we have a picture from NASA that is guaranteed to produce awe.

Taken from the International Space Station last year, the picture shows Hurricane Earl over Puerto Rico. You would never know from this altitude that Earl was a class 4 storm with winds of 135 miles per hour! It looks so peaceful with the sunlight gleaming on the solar panels. Just awesome!
The exploration of space by man, machine or telescope is an amazing endeavor and one that holds so much intense feeling for most people of this world. How can you not be moved by the images sent back to us here at home?
As children view the stars and are transported towards the ends of the universe their eyes fill with wonder and their mouths drop open in amazement. Do you remember the first time you really saw the stars? How can you forget? They never will either.
I love this job!
