Play Ball!
Last night the first regular season baseball game of 2012 was played in Miami at the new Miami Marlins ballpark and, sadly for Miami, the defending World Champion St. Louis Cardinals apparently did not get the memo and trounced the Marlins 4-1.
But for most of the country today is Opening Day, and all over this great nation grown men will be playing hooky from their jobs and making the annual pilgrimage to their local ballpark to welcome spring with the glorious rite of April Baseball. What a great day! Here is Michigan, of course, we will all be rooting for the beginning to a great season for our local heroes the Tigers. But whatever team you support we wish you well (not really ... especially if your team plays in the AL Central ... heh, heh, heh!)
But on another hand, the coming of spring alerts us that the school year is winding down and that summer is right around the corner. Now we all know your school will be hosting school assembly programs next year. And we all know that most of the best shows and assembly programs are tours with limited dates in any one area. And we all know that the best dates will fill in quickly. So my question to you is this... why wait to get your assembly ideas together? Doesn’t it make a lot more sense to do it now, get your assembly program dates in place and then be able to relax this summer and enjoy a nice game of baseball without the headache of scheduling hanging over your head? Especially when Mobile Ed makes it so easy to schedule.
So, go on. Go and enjoy opening day. But when you get back, give us a call. We will celebrate with you if your team won and commiserate with you if they lost. And then we will help you set up some world class educational assemblies that are within your budget and meet your state standards and are also some of the most outrageously fun school assemblies around. Give us a call. Find out what is new for next year. We will have a great time!
