Happy National Teacher Appreciation Day!

Written by Hannah Terry | Tue, May 7, 2024

Mobile Ed sees the positive effects of strong teaching every day as we travel from school to school with our portable museums. What we find is students who are inspired, empowered, and motivated to be fruitful learners. What educators do for students each day does not go unnoticed or unappreciated by our team. We are wishing all educators and administrators the recognition they deserve this National Teacher's Appreciation Day.

Educators play a critical role in not only supporting students as they become motivated learners but also as they grow into mature thinkers and members of society. Our team at Mobile Ed sincerely thanks you for going above and beyond to bring the next generation the education, confidence, and skills they need to be the leaders of tomorrow. Mobile Ed has been partnering with educators to bring students quality educational experiences for over 45 years, and we couldn't do what we do without the dedicated and passionate individuals we are working above and beyond with students every day.

Mobile Ed was founded by Michigan teacher Larry Thompson in 1979. Thompson believed that students learned best when they experienced his lesson firsthand, so he founded Mobile Ed Productions, Inc. Larry’s passion for education and his experiences in entertainment helped him find a unique niche in education. In fact, you may have heard of him before! Not only was Larry a teacher, but he was well known as the magician Mr. Whoodini on the TV program Bozo the Clown. Today, we are bringing the magic of learning to students nationwide.

Though we bring in various educational programs for students every day, our programs would be ineffective without the foundation teachers lay and relationships teachers create throughout the year. Because teachers are fostering safe environments for growth, we are able to bring in our educational assemblies to provide unique experiences, build upon knowledge students are already working on and, most importantly, get students excited about learning! Again, we sincerely thank you for the unique dedication and deep passion it takes to educate the generations of tomorrow. We see you!
