At the convention to revise the Articles of Confederation, George Washington was unanimously voted to be the convention’s President. His quiet presence at the convention encouraged compromise, healthy debate, and unity between delegates. His part in the creation of the United States constitution still has an immense influence on us today. Many of our programs use the Mobile Ed Time Machine to teach students about important times in history, but our Martin Luther King, Jr. program is one of our educators’ favorites. In our Martin Luther King Jr. program, students are invited to travel back in time with Dr. King himself to experience a first-hand account of what it meant to lead the Civil Rights movement in the twentieth century. 

The National Education Association, the largest teachers union in the United States, has sent a letter to the CEOs of TikTok, Facebook Inc., Instagram, and Twitter Inc. calling for control over the spread of viral challenges and false information on their social media platforms. These viral challenges and the spread of misinformation have made educators’ lives significantly challenging this past year.
