Summer Craft for Kids: Paper Bag Kite

Paper Bag Kite Instructions

What You'll Need

• Paper bag
• Thin yarn/string
• Scissors
• Tape/glue
• Streamers
• popsicle stick (or pencil/pen if needed)
• Markers/paint

What You'll Do

1. Decorate the paper bag to your kids' liking! Get creative with it!
2. Open up the bag. Cut a small hole in the button of the bag for the string to be secured through later. 
3. Cut your string to be about 24 inches long. Thread the string through the hole in the bottom of the bag. On the side of the string that's inside the bag, tie the popsicle stick. This will attach the string to the paper bag to prevent the string from falling out while it's in the air. 
4. Attach your streamers to the open end of the bag using glue or tape. 
5. Hold on to the string and fly your kite! Your kids will have a blast!
