We talk a lot about how exciting and educational our STEAM Museum hands-on program is, but you don't have to take our word for it. Dawn Coats, the STEAM Specalist at Lakeview Elementary in Lakeview MN put together this "Top 10 List" of her favorite things overheard students saying during their STEAM Museum experience.
10. “My dad would like one of these (Big Trax)!”
Of course he would! Who wouldn’t like to play with a robot while learning how to code?
9. “Do you think Santa knows about STEAM?”
Maybe he does… Maybe he doesn’t! How about writing a letter and letting him know all about it?
8. “What time does Mr. Dave (the presenter) have to go home?”
Once his mission is accomplished: to help students learn STEAM while having fun!
7. “Can we come back later? My teacher won’t mind.”
We wish you could come back anytime…
6. “What are these called…Next (K’nex)?”
The best robotics kits!
5. “Can I come back at lunch? I don’t have to eat much.”
We love that you enjoy our program so much – but you must nourish your body!
4. “Can Mr. Dave come back tomorrow?”
He might come back soon, but tomorrow is way too soon!
3. “The robot costs $10,000! That’s as much as a house!”
Well… Almost!
2. “Mr. Iverson could probably make electricity. He rides his bike all the time.”
We all could!
1. “ This is better than recess!”
It certainly is!
