What's the price of an assembly?

Because travel costs incurred by our performers vary from region to region, prices are different in different areas. Please contact our helpful representative for your state and they will be happy to provide a free price quote. Most programs are priced by format starting with a single assembly and ranging up to a higher price for all-day events.

How many students per show?

Most shows are limited only by the size of your facility. However, there is an advantage in breaking an audience up into smaller groups for multiple performances. Groupings by age/grade allow our experienced presenters to tailor each performance to the comprehension level of that particular audience. Some programs, due to logistical needs, are only scheduled by the day and may require a second day for larger audiences.

Does the student audience size include adults?

Yes, it does.  In progams such as SkyDome Planetarium and Earth Dome, adults take up just as much space - if not more - than a child.  Due to fire safety regulations, there is a hard maximum on the number of people that can be allowed into these programs at once.

What dates are available?

The availability for each program is different as each program is part of a separate tour visiting different areas at different times. Please contact your representative for your state for a complete listing of available dates for each show in your area.

What animals are coming with Animals and the Environment/Reptiles are Cool?

We can not promise which animals will be on hand on any given day as they are rotated for the health, safety, and comfort of the animals. We are never certain which may be sick or pregnant or recently overhandled on any given day. We can promise there will be a good selection of reptiles of all sorts plus some smaller mammals. We do not use large or exotic mammals because it is our position that it is cruel to keep larger mammals in captivity and wrong to use endangered species.

Can the Domes be set up outside?

Unfortunately, our inflatable domes, such as the Earth Dome and SkyDome cannot be set up outside. For our friends that do not have an indoor gym or ceilings tall enough for these domes, we may have a smaller dome available that provides the same educational content in smaller groups. Ask your regional representative for more information.

What material are the Domes made of?

Our portable, inflatable domes are made of heavy-duty materials that not only hold in the air but also provide a great projection surface, vibrant graphics, and maximum safety.

SkyDome Planetarium: Made of a heavy-duty cloth with a metallic finish. The bottom edge is heavy vinyl and the floor is left open for safety purposes.

Small SkyDome: Made of heavy cloth with a vinyl floor.

Earth Dome: Made of heavy cloth with a vinyl floor.

How much space do I need for STEAM Museum?

Our hands-on museum programs truly bring the experience of visiting a science museum to you. In order for us to bring the full experience, we require a room of at least 50' x 50'. The presentation can be set up in a room smaller than that (as small as 30' x 30'), however, we may not be able to set up all of the exhibits. Also, if you are planning on hosting one of these programs in a library, it is preferred that there not be tables or shelves between the exhibits as the program requires an open area.
