History comes alive!
Historical impressionist Peter M. Small portrays the Father of Our Country, George Washington, in this unforgettable educational assembly presentation.
Learn about the life our founding father as the presenter separates facts from fiction from the cherry tree to crossing the Delaware River. The audience will assist him crossing the Delaware River, survive the harsh winter at Valley Forge, and help forge a new government under the U.S. Constitution in interactive demonstrations using plenty of audience participation. The story of his life is the story of the founding of our nation.
This portrayal and others grew out of Mr. Small’s love for history, while he taught history in the greater Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. areas. He has performed for a wide range of national audiences, including the Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Herbert Hoover, and George Bush Presidential Libraries and the History Channel.
"Thank you so very much for introducing my students and my staff to Mr. Peter M. Small, AKA George Washington. Mr. Small was anything but "Small"! He brought "The Father of our Country" to life for my students. His professionalism, knowledge and sincere desire to bring history alive for our young learners is most inspirational. My students were enthralled with his performance. They can not wait to do more research on George Washington. We are all so very excited and can not wait to have him back again next year. Our sincere gratitude and appreciation to him and to your company for making education fun!" - Mountain View School District
